Hello, we are Girl Talk Apologetics

GTA began on June 2, 2020, during the initial Covid lockdown, as a way to create an online community where women from around the world can have thoughtful Christian apologetics book discussions and Q&As with the authors when possible.  We also host occasional special presentations with guest speakers.

We are a global, interdenominational, apologetics book discussion group that brings women of faith together around the truths of the Bible and classical Christianity, that is, orthodox Christian beliefs that have been affirmed since the early creeds by the first Christians. Our desire is to engage both the heart and the intellect of the women who participate in our groups, as we learn to be prepared to answer anyone who asks us for a reason for the hope that is in us, yet with gentleness and respect. (1 Peter 3:15)

GTA group discussions are designed to be welcoming environments that support each participant as she engages the compelling arguments for Christianity.  It is a forum where denominational or theological differences are respected, and respectful dialogue is encouraged in order that it remains a safe place for open and honest discussion.  Where there are differences, we will “agree to disagree, agreeably.”

We gather weekly through private Zoom sessions on Tuesdays at 5-6PM PST (8-9PM EST) for a 1-hour discussion.  The two co-hosts, Patti Trotti and Anne Sands, lead each week's discussion based on discussion questions that participants have been provided in advance.
